Since 2025, ArcheoServizi has participated in the multi-year Archaeology, Heritage and Tourism for Rural Development in Armenia project, as part of the international cooperation activities promoted by ISMEO and the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
The initiative promotes sustainable development models in rural areas of the Republic of Armenia through cultural heritage interpretation and the development of cultural tourism.
The sites involved include Aruch, in Aragatsotn Province, on the historic Silk Road routes. Activities include survey, excavation, geophysical prospection, documentation and conservation.

The project aims to increase the appeal of Armenia’s rural areas, benefiting local communities and creating new opportunities for economic and social development.

Fieldwalking surveys, archaeological excavations, geophysical prospection, documentation and conservation work aimed at protecting and interpreting archaeological and architectural heritage.

Particular attention is given to the study and conservation of a Late Antique Roman-Byzantine fortress and the Cathedral of St Grigor complex, an example of seventh-century early medieval Armenian architecture.
